Dr Aimee Holloway has been providing facial aesthetics treatments for over 10 years and is trained to an advanced level in facial aesthetic techniques at the world renowned Bob Khanna training Institute in Reading under the tutorage of Professor Bob Khanna himself and in London Harley Street with Dr Brian Franks.
Being an experienced dentist she has highly detailed knowledge of the facial anatomy and musculature, ensuring that your treatments are provided in a safe and reliable way. A personal consultation will always be performed in order to establish what you are looking for to create a suitable, unique treatment plan.
Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to reduce the effect of frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crows feet to leave you looking relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. It is also used to modify your smile and provide facial slimming.
By relaxing targeted muscles, we can lessen the tension of the face and ultimately reduces lines and wrinkles.
The process is quick and comfortable and well tolerated without the use of anaesthesia. Results are gradual and begin to appear within five days. The full effect is visible at 2 weeks at which point a review appointment will be attended. The treatment can be repeated after 3-4 months however some patients may find it lasts longer. Side effects are rare and normal activities can be resumed straight away.
Botulinium toxin a can also be used to manipulate muscle action in order to create a non-surgical eyebrow lift. Careful placement of the product can create a beautiful, natural brow arch to enhance your features to their full potential.
Deeper lines at rest will be softened but not completely eradicated with the use of anti-wrinkle injections alone. A combination of treatment using botulinium toxin-A and dermal fillers will create a superior and more complete effect.
Modern and well tested dermal fillers are used to treat deeper, more established lines and folds to restore volume and elasticity that has been lost over time. The extra volume reduces lines and wrinkles whilst smoothing skin.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring chemical found in our bodies. It provides elasticity and volume to the skin but with age the levels of HA in the body decline. This decrease can cause wrinkles, sagging and lack of suppleness in the skin. Dermal fillers replace this loss whilst stimulating the skin to create new collagen and elastin leaving the skin looking refreshed and rejuvenated.
Dermal fillers can also be used for lip augmentation to give you youthful looking, plump lips which is especially effective for naturally thin or thinning lips. If you would love the perfect pout then this is the treatment for you.
As with all other areas of the face, the lips are not immune to the effect of ageing. Fine lines appear in the upper lip, creating a smudged appearance between the lip edge and the surrounding skin. Options for aesthetic enhancement include increasing lip height or correcting asymmetries, re-shaping the Cupid’s bow and improving the lip contours, and restoring or increasing lip volume.
Volume and plumpness can be also be achieved, with the fullness decided upon by yourself. A good treatment should always ensure that the lips are in harmony, balance and proportion with the overall size and shape of the face. The gradual introduction of fillers in layers over time will create the most natural and aesthetically pleasing result.
Whether you want to redefine, shape or add volume to your lips we have the right treatment for you.
Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment. When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
During the ageing process our skin loses elasticity and the supporting tissues of the skin migrate downwards, which can result in loose skin around the mouth, jowl, cheek and neck area. Thread lifts are designed to help restore your youthful appearance by lifting and tightening the skin to reduce the visible sign of ageing without the downtime of surgery.
The threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO) which dissolve naturally in the body over time. Once the threads are in place, your body starts to produce new bundles of collagen around each thread and this, in turn, creates a subtle yet effective face lift whilst also reducing wrinkles, tightening pores and improving the texture of the skin.
